Memorandum of understanding with Ministry of Social Affairs Kinshasa

A historical signing of an MOU with the Ministry of Social Affairs in Kinshasa in October 2007 reinforces Africo's commitment and resolve to work in tandem with the DRC government's programmes for social development and poverty alleviation. The partnership aims to focus on areas of common interest to bring about positive change in socio economic conditions in communities surrounding the mine site and further a field where possible. It is the first mining company in Katanga Province to have signed an MOU of this nature.
