Further to its news release dated 25 June 2007, Africo Resources has been advised that three of the four Lubumbashi judges against whom Africo has lodged a case of judicial misconduct have been served with proceedings under the authority of the Presiding Judge of the Supreme Court of Justice of the DRC. One of the judges named in Africo’s suit was not served because his judgement was unrelated to the proceedings that Africo is disputing. The misconduct alleged by Africo relates to the judgements obtained by Mr Alejandro Berardone against Africo Resources and the purported sale of Swanmines shares to Akam Mining.
